Ten years of not rushing

Demo Salon opened in 2014 in a two-chair room above a bakery, with one borrowed mirror and a booking book made of paper. What we had instead of money was a rule: never book a guest tighter than the work deserves.

That rule survived three expansions. Today the studio runs nine chairs across two floors, a dedicated skin room, and a nail bar by the front window - and the appointments are still booked with room to breathe.

We train in-house every second Monday, we quote before we begin, and we will tell you honestly when a look will not survive your hair type. That last one has cost us bookings. It has also kept guests for a decade.

Fifteen minutes before scissors or colour touch you. We look, we ask, we agree the plan. New guests get longer.

Products we would use ourselves

Low-scent, cruelty-free lines chosen for sensitive scalps and reactive skin. Nothing on the shelf we cannot explain.
